CGT provided a six-man security team at a hotel location in Dubai, UAE. The team was tasked with a number of objectives, namely 24/7 security for around 20 next generation telecommunications devices; security and safety to the survey team during their interactions with the general public using these devices; and to ensure that safe and compliant pandemic protocols were adhered to by both the team members and the general public.
This was a particularly challenging assignment as the security of the devices, used indoors and outdoors within the confines of the hotel grounds, was top priority. The project ran for three consecutive months, during which time the team also had to deal with several positive virus cases within the survey and security teams. Despite the COVID-19 impact, the survey team’s schedule of objectives was maintained and achieved.
